The 5 iPhone Apps Every Witch Needs

It can be difficult to wade through ALL the apps in the app store to find a particular gem for your magical practice, so we put together a list of our favorite apps that we have found and we hope you love them too! This post is not sponsored, just good old fashioned recommendations.

The best way to begin to live an abundant life is by clearing away any internal cobwebs. This pretty little app has sessions that range from Seizing the Moment to Releasing Anger and provides you with a cosmic video visualization to stare into during the process (unless you like to keep your eyes shut, like me!). Having downloaded and used countless meditation and hypnosis apps, this is easily one of my favorites for both function and aesthetic.

For those of you who like to follow the moon phases for your magical practice, Deluxe Moon Pro has pretty solid phase tracking as well as forecasts. Although the forecasts are very broad, the tracking capabilities are very easy to use and learn. There is also a free version, so test it out first to see if this is up your alley.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the astrology charts produced by a lot of apps are often... Less than attractive. And frankly, they can be kind of hard to read, too. It's like there's not a single Venus-dominant astrology app developer out there... Until now! When I discovered Time Nomad, I kind of lost my ish. If you're a hard-core astrologer and you are looking for an easy, aesthetically pleasing astrology chart app that has all the bells and whistles you need to perform really solid readings, this one will excite you too.

Believe it or not, I actually don't have any of Tina's gorgeous Tarot decks but her app is totally worthwhile despite that. I downloaded it on a whim assuming that it was just a tarot app, and it's true, you can practice digital and live readings and log your results in a guided journal. But I was surprised to discover that it is much more than just an accompaniment to the decks. This app functions as a great, simple little personal development tool and I definitely suggest trying it out with the Luminous or your own tarot deck.

I saved the best for last. This app is one of the simplest apps I've ever used and it is totally priceless. Basically, all it does is go through the tones and and sounds associated with the chakras, either individually or in a seven minute meditation. I literally use this app everywhere I have a chance to meditate briefly: on the bus, when I'm supposed to be working, in the tub, during insanely long wedding ceremonies... You get the drill.

Honorable mention

Compass

This app is one of the native iPhone apps and is great for witches who like to observe the North, West, South, and East in their practice but are not so great with directions.

We use this app constantly because of the vast amount of occult material people have collected on the site. Plus, it can be really motivating as well! You can download the app here, and when you do, be sure to follow us here!
